Mick O'Brien and Family at The Steeple Sessions

Mick O'Brien and Family at The Steeple Sessions

The O'Brien family from Artane are widely regarded as one of Ireland foremost musical families. They have extended family now living all over the World.

This special O'Brien clan get together invites all family and friends home for a mid-Summer musical Gathering at The Steeple Sessions. Mick O'Brien is one of our best-loved uilleann pipers. Aoife, his daughter is based in Leipzig and is lead violinist with Riverdance. They are joined by Cormac (studying in Romania) on cello and uilleann pipes and the youngest, Ciara on Fiddle,
Individually, they are in demand as performers in both classical and traditional circles and it is a very special and rare occasion to present them performing together as a family.
Expect to hear  traditional and classical music delivered by Ireland's very best!
